Hey M&R, I have a suggestion for when you have time, I know you are pretty busy right now and this certainly represents no rush at all.

But, could you possibly create a highscores site, just like you did with N1.4 in HarveyCartel? The reason is that it would be really useful for not only checking by yourself, but also for downloading all scores with some fanmade software in otder to create rankings and stats as we do nowadays with N1.4 (remember that page you created for jg9000 to download the scores? maybe something similar!).

Oh yeah, kkstrong pretty much sumarised all bugs as well as things I don't like about the highscoring system :) Only thing he left is about the tied scores not being sorted in chrological order, which is a serious issue (Considering the amount of maxable levels or framewars on this version).

And as for the number, xela pretty much nailed it. Its the regular 1.4 score in seconds but in terms of frames.

I agree with kkstrong in all points. Especially with the Top 10 being not enough.

I think the score in the leaderboards is the total frames you have left before dying. 6000 would mean you had exactly 100 seconds when you finished.

I strongly dislike the highscores system. I'm not quite sure what the score is for the leaderboards (i.e. what the number means) but I'm sure I'll figure that out later.

What I dont like the most is not knowing what score I got on runs that were not my fastest. That makes innovations difficult to test. There should be a frame counter in the corner like is in NReality. That is one of the most useful features.

I like the leaderboards in 1.4 much better. It is much easier to navigate to all the levels. While the thumbnails are a nice addition, it should have been implemented in a different way. Getting to episode 9 of any column when you have a slow internet connection is horrible.

I would like to see top 20's come back. Top 10 just is not enough, especially when so many of the maps for this version are so easily maxed.

Congratulations on this new version! Almost every bug that plagued 1.4 has been removed, and the game is much better for it. However, it's not without issues:

- The UI for most new things is atrocious! Looks placeholder at best.
- The game seems a lot easier than previous versions. Gradual enemy introduction is good, but it leads to a lot of samey levels.
- A lot of the levels are very repetitive. Doing the same thing 10 times, seemingly to make the level the width of the screen, doesn't make for riveting gameplay.
- The login system has various issues, most of which are mentioned above. Myself, I was plagued by the elusive 'Email sent' when I'd failed to correctly fill out the form. Also, the message for an invalid username seems to end preemptively
- Where have half of the enemy placement options gone?! I can understand the removal of Z-snap if it makes something work better on the back end, but the left-right-left and random drone pathings need to make a comeback in a patch.
- Oh the slowdown

Still, it's nice to see N make a return, I've been having a great deal of fun!

Okay so I just realised I don't have to hold space to change between items/tiles and now I really like the new editor :D

Still one issue though - the object placement is pretty nice, though i'm so used to the old snapping that currently i find it harder to use. I expect with practice that will change, but the quirk I have is that one-ways snap to the closest grid line to your mouse, even if the closest one is underneath the mouse. It feels very unnatural to have the mouse hiding the object that i'm trying to place, so I would much prefer the editor to snap one-ways to the closest grid line above the mouse. Or, if the object is being placed vertically the closest grid line to the left/right respectively.

I just want to iterate how much I hate having the game stuck in the top corner of my screen! Ahhh it gives my OCD nightmares! D:

"Error: Only 10 episodes in a column" shows up after completing 09-4 in arcade mode, 'a-0' doesn't get white "completed" outline afterwards.

On my PC the game suffers from a massive slowdown on a lot of levels, i.e. 02-3 is slow and then 02-4 runs well. On some levels like 09-4 or 08-1 performance changes "on the fly" without visible causes. On a different PC with the same CPU (pretty old 1.86 Intel Core2) the game runs fine.

(is there a better place to report bugs?)
