Today is the 10th anniversary of the launch of N++ on PS4.

We have a lot of complicated feelings about this, beyond just that we’re both getting quite old at this point (someone on the N++ discord recently pointed out that the first version of N is approximately as old today as Super Mario Bros. was when N was initially released… yikes!!), but predominantly we feel tremendous joy, pride, and contentment, knowing that people from around the world enjoy and appreciate our work, and that we were finally able to realize the full potential latent in that first iteration of a slightly weird idea (with a slightly weird name) we had for a videogame way back in 2004. <3

We’ve been busy preparing a special gift for you all, as a way to celebrate this awesome 10-year milestone; we had hoped to release it today, on the literal anniversary of the PS4 launch, however console patch/cert processes being what they are, it will have to wait slightly longer. It should hopefully be ready in the next few weeks, perhaps in time for the 9th anniversary of the Steam version — stay tuned here for the actual announcement whenever it does happen! 😉
